There are approximately 27 neighborhoods in Lake Oswego and I am working my way through them posting the stats for the past three years.

Lake Oswego Real Estate Neighborhood Stats Lake Grove

The Lake Grove area is probably the most up and coming neighborhood of any in Lake Oswego.  Mainly it is because there are older, smaller homes on large lots that are being torn down to accommodate new construction.  Most of those homes built are priced at the higher price ranges and are of the quality of a custom home.

In addition, the Lake Grove retail and community is being revitalized.  I’ve written posts here about the Lake Grove Village Shopping Center that is due to open in April and some of the plans that the City of Lake Oswego has for this area in other posts.

Further, this area offers rental housing, senior housing, retail developments, bus service and easy freeway access plus he WalMart is coming to this area too.  The Lake Grove Elementary school is a high ranking school and sits almost in the middle of this neighborhood.

Lake Grove Condos

There aren’t a lot of condos in this neighborhood, however there was a new project built that helped to keep the % of list price to the sold price high in 2011 and raised the values of other Lake Grove condos.

Coming Soon To Lake Grove Village

Starbucks now has a new patio to sit outside during the nice weather. I asked one of the Starbucks employees about Zupans and found out it will be opening in April.

Restaurants Coming Soon To Lake Grove Village

LaProvence, that is located near Gubanc’s on Boones Ferry Road, is coming to the new Lake Grove Village. In addition, there will be a Mexican Restaurant. Rumor has it it will be the Mexican Restaurant in downtown Lake Oswego, currently next to Wizer’s.  However, since I’m not absolutely certain that’s true, I’m not publishing their name here.

Other Retailers COMING TO LAKE GROVE VILLAGE

The Mt. Park Liquor store will be located in Lake Grove Village.  I don’t know if they are closing their current location or if this will be a second store.  A yogurt bar is also coming just in time for summer.
