The other day I posted two upcoming recycling events for block foam and electronics. Here’s an update with more information about those two events plus holiday recycling info for your tree.
Lake Oswego Holiday Recycling
What to do With Your Holiday Tree
Boy Scout troops are collecting trees at George Rogers Park for a small donation ($6) on December 30, 31, January 1, 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on January 7-8, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You can also cut up the tree and place it in your yard waste container for pick-up on your regularly scheduled service day.
Those without yard waste collection service, such as Home Owners or Condo Associations, should contact Allied Waste directly at 503-636-3011 to arrange for a group pick up.
Remove all tree stands, ornaments, tinsel, lights, and other non-organic decorative materials.

At this event, you can recycle: computers, laptops, monitors, printers, ink cartridges, cables, keyboards, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, stereos, cell phones, batteries, cameras, PDAs, washers/dryers and ovens/stoves.
